Application Requirements for Medical Doctor (MD) Program 

1. Direct Entry Scheme:

Completion of Form 6 or its equivalent with three principal passes with at least a D grade in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Minimum of 6 points or equivalent.

2. Diploma or Equivalent Qualifications

a) Diploma in Clinical Medicine: Diploma in Clinical Medicine with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Engineering Sciences and English at O-Level. 

b) Foundation Programme of the Open University – Tanzania: Minimum GPA of 3.0.
